Noli Me Tángere by José Rizal is a significant entry in the Filipino literary canon. It is considered by many to be the great novel of the Philippines. The influences of its story and characters have rippled outward since its initial publication, and its text warrants a revisit in modern times. This project imagines a version of the novel marketed towards an English-speaking/reading audience with additional educational content and imagery, in order to supplement the experiences of Filipinos living in the diaspora or readers that do not bring pre-existing knowledge about the colonization of the Philippines to this reading experience.
